A difficult life is just the opposite of a comfortable life. Who is to say that one is preferrable to the other? A hard life can lead a man to work harder and cause him to gain more. An easy life can make one soft. Which one is better than the other? I am sure that there are greater underlying questions than these simple observations. To paraphrase the movie, there is more than meets the eye. Take the scriptures or the koran. They seem to teach something relating to god, and conflict is what follows from accepting one or the other. I have often been discombobolated by this situation and I cannot believe that one is superior to the other. Surely, there are other quantities at work than a simple belief in one or the other. One god is fine with me and there are many belief systems that allow for a multiplicity of gods. I have been imagining this and it would seem to be a daunting task at first glance. The query arises, what could make anyone crave to adjust anyone in the first place? Still, we cannot close our eyes to the initiative that some people have to imptove the world. The ones that belong to the oppressed or the have-nots have valid|some motivation for wishing to change the world. These could be named firebrands. Well, there is nothing wrong with wanting some change here and there but it becomes boring and un-progressive when it goes on for longer than necessary. People need a some stability in order to prosper and an overabundance of turmoil is not a good thing|at all desirable. Mental revolution would be great. I laud that type of changing. It might signify a beneficialreal improvement in the world if it gathers speed. Is it therefore safe to aver that making changes to the world can be gained by changing the mind? It would be great to delve into that premise and see if it is valid. A mind that is too stiff and unchanging is eventually unexciting and static. I have heard people say, “be realistic”. Is this something good? Or, something short-sighted and somehow negative? Does it mean putting some limits on what can be accomplished life? I would like to believe that there is no limit to one’s potential and that the limits imposed are arbitrary and boring. Life after all, is boundless and should never be unnaturally curtailed.
