When I first heard of it, I paid it no mind because I was still fixated with blogs. Just say it, I am severely challenged in my knowledge of the web. It took me quite a while to see that there was so much more to the internet than adult and sleazy porn sites. There are truckloads of those surely and they can really consume all your time but, if I remember accurately, blogging held my attention the longest because I love to write. This is not to say that I am good at it but I just love to write stuff. It makes no difference that there were no readers. Writing was what I needed to keep me well content. Well, for a little bit, anyway. I got sick of doing the same things, namely, blogging, or more importantly, I ran out of subject matters to opine about. I wanted a change to keep from going looney tunes and I turned my attention on other stuff like getting traffic. So I studied social bookmarking. Nothing in depth, just superficial stuff like, how does it work and plain and simple things like that. The great thing about social bookmarking sites is that it is is no rocket science. You sign up and submit your sites and they accept it. Then the magic begins. Search engines find your sites and index them. cool! I have had a site rank in number one on Google’s search pages after I submitted it to a few social bookmarking sites.
